Our Story

Since 2007

Here are Lavender Catering  we simply have a love of food, Presentation and Styling. 

We are proud to say we are very conscious about our planet, so we are doing our very best to use sustainable re-usable products wherever possible. Our refuse is collected and recycled, our food waste is recycled back to make energy and none of it goes to landfill. 

We specialise in outside catering & event management and our passion is all about creating, cooking and delivering beautiful food for all your occasions.

We are creators of mouth-watering and tempting menu’s for all your occasions and specialise in Buffets, private and corporate Lunches, Funerals, Celebrations, Wedding and Launches.

Our Experience

With fifteen years of event management background we are also not just about food. We can help you with your event from concept to completion – including finding the perfect venue, equipment rental, beautiful floral arrangements, all types of music, themed areas and staffing.

We are sticklers to attention and detail and whether we are providing a platter of sandwiches for a business lunch, a private dining affair or a sit down wedding buffet for 300 each we aim to create a long term relationship with all our clients.

In the kitchen…

An Introduction

Experienced Head Chef Melanie Williams has clocked a good few hundred hours of experience in various kitchens. As a specialised event chef, Locations include Chelsea Football Club, Lingfield Race Course and Reading FC, and just recently has acclaimed the position of Head Chef at The Royal Berkshire Polo Club.

When more chefs are needed for our bigger events we bring on board chefs with exceptional abilities and experience.

And the team all has one thing in common – and that is a passion to create beautiful, fresh, seasonal mouth-watering menus.

Our in-house team have a great art to plan and manage magical and memorable events.  Before your celebration we can arrange and plan your event expectations so from the moment everyone arrives until the last guest has left, the event will run smoothly, on time and within budget.

We choose our teams very carefully and ensure that everyone is professional, they always smile, are wholly reliable, good time keepers and have oodles of passion whilst serving our beautiful food to all the guests making them feel special.

We are blessed to be able to work with some really amazing colleagues in the industry, and like us it is all about Vision, Beauty and the Wow factor. Our stylists are always on hand to help guide you every step of the way to make your day or event absolutely perfect in every way.
