Nice to meet you. I'm Melanie and I am the owner and Executive Head Chef of the Lavender Catering and Events group. I have many years of kitchen and Event Management experience and a fierce eye for detail. I head up the entire operation for Lavender Catering group ensuring that each and every event, project or our cafe runs smoothly on a daily basis. I love nothing better than to source as many local ingredients as we can locally to translate into our menu aiming to reduce our footprint as much as we can. In 2020 the business introduced our own carbon footprint policy and is now on a mission to reduce as much waste and plastic in the business as possible.

Meet Emma, who has worked with our team for almost ten years! Emma keeps the whole back operation running, booking staff, ordering food, and making sure everything is packed and ready to go for a success event. She works closely with Jenny and together they are a great team ensuring each and every event we manage runs smoothly on time and in budget.

Jenny joined Lavender a few years ago and is a valuable team member for the relationships we build with all our lovely clients. Her eye is very much in the detail and ensures that whatever the occasion you are planning is created with kindness, passion and precision. She works closely with Emma so together your event runs smoothly, on time and in budget.

Bridget has been part of our kitchen and front of house team for over 7 years. Better known as 'B' she is responsible for creating and cooking delicious food from our menu as well as keeping the business ahead of the curve by finding alternative solutions to reducing our carbon footprint. B has a fantastic eye of for detail and makes everything look so pretty on the plate.

Melanie and Peter have known each other for many years, working together at different venues including Chelsea F.C.and Lingfield Park Racecourse. Previously Peter was a sous chef at The Dorchester Hotel, now he is very much a valued member of our team.

Fernando has an exceptional ethos of presenting beautiful food. Having worked in a Michelin Star restaurant Fernando is a vital part of our Chef team and brings a lot of creativity and experience to the kitchen.

Having met at Lingfield Park Racecourse, Melanie could see Jerome’s talent as a pastry chef. Now, he can often be found in Lavender’s kitchen creating some fabulous meringues or delicious French patisserie.

Vikki is part of our baking and Events team. She bakes weekly with the team that includes making Lavender's spectacular brownies and delicious cakes for our events and our cafe and often attends site to work with the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Meet Krisztina – a human calculator and manages to keep all the budgets in line and ensures all our financial administration runs like clockwork, on time and within our clients budget.
